Our client agency’s showstopping concept – to reveal three new cars at sea on a cruise ship – called on many CDI skills. The two tier set included a main stage with reveal boxes, lighting gantries and even hidden car conveyors. Built in our shop, then craned and welded onto the ship’s skeleton, the structure was engineered to withstand 140 mph hurricane winds and had to be signed-off by the coast guard. Installation was completed in just two round-the-clock days.
