Special Structures

We specialize in the special. Our designers and fabricators are at their most inventive when faced with a novel challenge – and we’ve faced many.

For years we have enjoyed developing and implementing solutions for our clients, drawing on our considerable experience gained from hundreds of projects across the world and working with trusted partners when necessary to supplement our in-house capability.

By definition, special structures are tricky to categorize. Here is a small selection of examples that illustrate the variety of projects we undertake.

  • Building an energy-generating dance floor as part of an international sponsored educational event for prospective young engineers.
  • Constructing a temporary glass-walled TV studio on London’s South Bank for an international broadcaster covering the Olympics.
  • Engineering, fabricating and installing dozens of accurately red-hued Coca-Cola vending shrouds at Atlanta’s landmark sports stadium.
  • Production designing and fabricating highly-polished, brand-compliant showcases to display designer sunglasses as part of an international store roll-out.
  • Designing and installing a curved stainless-steel trellis to shade a pedestrian walkway at a renowned Buddhist temple in Singapore
