BYD Singapore: Harmony Auto at 77 Robinson Road

This is an event for the opening ceremony of Harmony Auto at 77 Robinson Road on the 28th of March 2024. The event promises to showcase Harmony Auto’s innovative approach to showcasing their BYD vehicles in a prime location in the heart of the central business district.

What makes this auto launch project unique is the location of the showroom. This is in the heart of the central business district where financial institutions are located. This prime location offers unparalleled visibility and accessibility for potential customers and passersby.

The Challenge

Given the hustle and bustle of the location, it was challenging during the setup phase as it was a public area and people were walking through our event space at every moment. We had to maintain the safety of the public, especially with a car moving around to be placed on top of the display. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the event space was secure for the public.

Additionally, it was risky as the space was outdoors with a small shelter above, so we were all exposed to the elements. It did rain for an hour during the setup but everything had cleared up during the actual event. Despite the initial setback, our team adapted quickly and ensured that the show went on without any further disruptions.

Another challenge was because we had a second location to place 2 vehicles at the Fullerton Hotel, timing was crucial. We had to have 2 groups of workers working concurrently at both venues ensuring guests were able to experience a seamless transition from the showroom to the hotel. This required meticulous planning and coordination. This ensured that everything ran smoothly and that guests had an uninterrupted experience.

Let’s Not Forget the Catering

Apart from the usual design works, carpentry, graphic installation, we provided the food and beverage. To choosing the type of alcohol to be served to the guests during the ceremony, manpower for service, audio visual, lion dance, providing the host and brand ambassadors, to drone videography/photography. These elements all came together to create a truly immersive and memorable experience for guests.

The Result

The result was the successful launch and introduction of Harmony Auto’s beautiful BYD showroom, never before seen in an area like this. This provided an alternative venue for the public to explore their new energy vehicles. This innovative approach is sure to capture the attention of environmentally-conscious consumers and demonstrate BYD’s commitment to sustainable transportation.
